Robert âBobâ Walter Darmogray
GLADSTONE Robert “Bob” Walter Darmogray of Gladstone, Mich. passed away peacefully on Friday, March 5, 2021. He was surrounded by his wife Carol and their children and grandchildren by his side.
Bob was born in Lansing, Mich. on November 10, 1946 to Walter and Margaret Darmogray. He graduated from Plymouth High School in 1964 and from Cleary Business College in 1966. On August 18, 1967, he married the former Carol Paul. Bob worked in the family business, Gray Jewelers in Wayne, Mich. until 1970 when he moved the family to Gladstone, Mich. and opened Gray Jewelers in the Delta Plaza mall. Bob loved his work and even continued to do jewelry repairs after retirement. Bob was an avid golfer and a member of the Gladstone Golf Course. If he wasn’t at home, you could almost always bet he was at the course, either golfing with his buddies or sitting at the “round table” talking and telling stories. He loved to watch the Detroit Ti
