The Orangeburg County School District announced that Brookdale Elementary School has been awarded a $5,000 grant from the Battelle Foundation Fund of The Columbus Foundation.
Brookdale Elementary School is on track to become the first Green Steps-certified school in the county, making a big environmental impact through small steps.
