Outreach Initiatives: During the filing period, WKNZ worked with Delaware Technical and Community College and hosted an internship with 1 student for 3 months. WKNZ also coordinated with Delmarva Christian Schools for a broadcast writing and production project and worked with
students in producing content that aired daily.
Employee training: During the filing period, WKNZ offered company-wide leadership development training via Advocace, Inc representative Randy Bronkema and from Jason Sharp, a programming and leadership development coach from Northwestern University in Minneapolis, MN. Programming staff attended the Christian Music Broadcasters annual Momentum conference in Orlando, and staff participate in the monthly CMB video conferences.

Isabelle Donihue
Delmarva Christian Schools announced that junior Isabelle Donihue has been selected as a 2021 Carson Scholar.
With this honor, Isabelle will receive a $1,000 scholarship award that will be invested for her college education, as well as a medal and a certificate. Her accomplishments will also be honored on a trophy displayed in the high school’s main office.
Isabelle is among more than 10,000 gifted students from across the country who have been named Carson Scholars. They are chosen because they demonstrate the highest standards of academic achievement, integrity, and civic and social responsibility.
Regional award ceremonies will be held this fall, when Isabelle will be honored in front of family, peers and educators.

Rehoboth Art League 2020 Young at Art Best in Show winner by Aidee Landa, 12th grade, Indian River High School.
The Rehoboth Art League will host this year’s Young at Art exhibition from Saturday, March 13 to Sunday, March 28, showcasing teacher-selected artwork by Sussex County students in kindergarten through high school.
This year, the Rehoboth Art League welcomes 11 public and private schools exhibiting a selection of their students’ artwork in the Corkran Gallery on the historic Henlopen Acres campus. Participating schools include Beacon Middle, Delmarva Christian Schools kindergarten through eight grade, Delmarva Christian High, East Millsboro Elementary, H.O. Brittingham Elementary, Love Creek Elementary, Milford Central Academy, Millsboro Middle, North Georgetown Elementary, Seaford High, and Shields Elementary. Each art teacher has chosen the best student works to represent the school, and selections will be judged to receive ribbons, cash awar
