Y Hosts Summer Service-Learning Program, YESC

Registration is open for The Family YMCA’s Earth Service Crew (YESC) environmental education and volunteer service program for middle-school aged youth.
YESC meets from 8 a.m.-12 p.m., Monday through Thursdays, from June 21-July 31. Registration, on a weekly basis, closes when spaces are filled.
The program empowers youth to be effective, responsible global citizens by providing opportunities for environmental education and action, leadership development and cross cultural awareness.
During the summer, youth learn first aid/CPR, tool safety, trail maintenance, ecological restoration, and numerous environmental concepts while providing hands-on community service.
