This historical account was written from the memories of Jean Baptiste (Jack) St. Paul as told to his daughter, Della May (St. Paul) Chilcott. St. Paul, a mining prospector, once made his home in South Porcupine. In this story, he undertook delivering mail. To orient the reader, my comments appear in italics.
