The plane landed on runway 28/10 at around 8.30 am but could not exit to the designated taxiway. As a result, the runway was blocked for little over 15 minutes, the sources added.
Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs) have been issued by the aviation body which stated that airlines may cancel a flight, well in advance, if it has been delayed due to prevailing adverse weather conditions beyond a period of 3 hours.
