Delhi dengue cases: Amid a spike in dengue cases in the national capital, many people down with viral infection are exhibiting overlapping symptoms of Covid and the vector-borne disease, leaving both patients and doctors perplexed about the exact diagnosis.
The Municipal Corporation of Delhi today said a "rapid response team" has been formed and inter-sectoral meetings are being held with various stakeholders to keep the spread of dengue in check.
The cases of dengue have seen a significant rise in Delhi-NCR in the past two weeks. This has led to a shortage of beds in government as well as private hospitals.
Over 1,000 cases of dengue have been reported in the national capital this year, with more than 280 fresh cases logged in the last one week, according to a civic report released on Monday.
