Environment Minister Gopal Rai questioned the BJP s use of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to prevent Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal from campaigning for Lok Sabha polls, claiming the summons was leaked to media before reaching Kejriwal.
Speculation is rife on whether the central probe agency is going to arrest Kejriwal or summon him for the fourth time in connection with the Delhi Excise Policy case.
Kejriwal said the truth is that there was no corruption and the BJP wants to arrest him. He added that false summons have been sent to him by Enforcement Directorate.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal claims that his party members are being targeted because they refused to join the BJP, asserting that the summons issued by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is an attempt to hinder his election campaign. Kejriwal questions the timing of the summons, suggesting it may be a tactic to impede his efforts for the upcoming parliamentary elections.
