Several people, who were stuck inside the multi-storey building in Delhi s Mundka, which caught fire earlier in the day and left at least 27 people dead, were rescued through the AC window, while some others jumped out in desperation and were injured.
A 59-year-old man, working as a peon at Shastri Bhawan, is said to be among the dead. The four victims, members of the same family, include the peon’s wife and their two children.
Four members of a family died after a fire broke out at a house in the Old Seemapuri area of Delhi on Tuesday, news agency ANI reported. According to police, it is suspected that fire at a three-storey building was caused by a short circuit.
