Dog lovers across the U.S. were shocked after one of the country’s “first dogs,” Major Biden, was removed from the White House because of a “biting incident.”
CNN reported on Monday that President Biden’s two German Shepherds, Major and Champ, were taken to the president’s home in Wilmington, Del., after 3-year-old Major showed “aggressive behavior” toward a White House security member. The outlet didn’t detail the “biting incident,” and the security member’s condition is currently unknown.
The two German Shepherds belonging to President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden were returned to the Biden family home in Delaware last week after a biting incident involving Major.

President Joe Biden, 78, was inaugurated in January, making this the third official month of his presidency. After his inauguration, Mr Biden and his wife Jill moved into the White House, as is customary for every United States President. Moving with them were their two dogs, both German Shepherds, who made the journey from Delaware to Washington.
