(Shutterstock) RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA The Delaware County Literacy Council put out a call for volunteers, asking for help in programs that improve basic literary skills. Delco s literacy council challenged residents to resolve to change a life in 2021, asking people to volunteer as literacy tutors in either Adult Basic Education (ABE) or English as a Second Language (ESL). Volunteers work one-on-one with adult students to help them improve their basic skills. Kick off 2021 with an uplifting and meaningful resolution: volunteer your time, knowledge, and energy to help an adult improve his or her basic skills, the literacy council said.
