DELAWARE COUNTY, PA The Delaware County Literacy Council now offers two free programs to help Delaware County residents find employment, one for adults over 40 looking for work, another focused on immigrants.
DCLC s Back-to-Work Program assists Delaware County adults 40 and older who are looking for full-time work. Employment coaches help with resume preparation, interviewing skills, and job-search strategies.

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA The Delaware County Literacy Council put out a call for volunteers, asking for help in programs that improve basic literary skills.
Delco s literacy council challenged residents to resolve to change a life in 2021, asking people to volunteer as literacy tutors in either Adult Basic Education (ABE) or English as a Second Language (ESL). Volunteers work one-on-one with adult students to help them improve their basic skills. Kick off 2021 with an uplifting and meaningful resolution: volunteer your time, knowledge, and energy to help an adult improve his or her basic skills, the literacy council said.
