The Vestal High school and middle school have taken first place in their division for problem solving in the New York State Odyssey of the Mind championship this month.
Vestal Art Students Receive High Honors
The Vestal High School Art Students have put their talent and dedication together in the 78
th annual regional Scholastic Art awards.
Their hard work paid off as they will received 19 awards including six Gold Keys and five Silver Keys.
According to a news release from the Vestal School District the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards were founded in 1923 by the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers.
The awards recognize and offer scholarships to students based on their talents in Art.
The News release highlights Seniors Miah Barnard and Anna Bishop along with junior Delaney Schoenfeldt as Gold Key winners in multiple categories
