Dance teacher and former lecturer, Heather Davies, 68, appeared on original TV series Come Dancing
Dance teacher Heather Davies has been remembered for her love, care and talent on the dance floor.
She appeared on TV s Come Dancing in the 1972 series of the ballroom dancing competition representing the East Midlands, alongside childhood sweetheart, Peter Davies, whom she married a year later.
Tragically Heather, from Cleethorpes, was diagnosed with lung cancer in January and died in hospital aged 68 years.
She was a former secretary and worked in the finance department of Franklin College, before graduating to become a lecturer.

Kayakers enjoy Big Pond in Otis, the proposed site of a cellular telephone tower that is opposed by residents of the neighborhood. Otis is seeking proposals to erect a tower on town-owned land. Officials say they hope to close a gap in cellular phone service. Neighbors are worried about their property values and the look of a tower near the pond.
