Two adjacent properties on Maddock Way one with lake frontage that have sat vacant since they last sold together in 2013 have changed hands privately for a grand total recorded at $40.25 million.
The simultaneous sales to the same buyer mark the second deal within a week in which a vacant lakeside property in Palm Beach has changed hands at more than $40 million.

With travel and traditional tourism discouraged right now, longtime business owners say shopping local has never been more important.
The new digital campaign is designed to showcase small businesses you can support that you might not know about.
On the website, you can scroll through businesses, watch videos and learn more about each unique spot.

San Antonio chef to compete in new season of Hell s Kitchen

A San Antonio chef will make her national TV debut Thursday as she competes on the popular FOX reality show Hell s Kitchen on Thursday.
Mary Lou Davis is a 28-year-old Chef de Cuisine at La Cantera s Whiskey Cake and is one of 18 people competing this season for a position at celebrity British chef Gordan Ramsey s Hell s Kitchen in Lake Tahoe, Calif.
Hell s Kitchen, which is in it s 19th season, is a reality cooking competition that takes place in Las Vegas and hosted by Ramsey in which the winner gets a head chef or executive chef spot at a restaurant of his choosing, along with a cash prize of $250,000.

San Antonio Mexican food staple El Mirasol will open a new location January 4, just a few months after closing its original Blanco Road restaurant. The eatery posted opening plans to its Facebook page Tuesday. “We still have a few finishing touches to make,” the post read. “But we re officially ready to welcome you to this new amazing space!”
