DeKalb – The DeKalb County Health Department has released a community health and COVID-19 update. DeKalb County is currently at high levels of COVID-19 cases, according to the DCHD. The department recommends that all residents that are able to get vaccinated and to get booster shots. The department also urges those who feel sick should.

COVID-19 vaccine clinic coming to Garrett

The Indiana State Department of Health will host a COVID-19 vaccination and testing clinic at the Jam Center in Garrett from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, officials said.

Parvovirus cases rise among dogs

DeKALB – The DeKalb County Health Department and Animal Control have reported an increase in Canine Parvovirus cases. Puppies are the most vulnerable to the virus, but any unvaccinated dog is at risk. The Health Department urges residents to get their dogs vaccinated and check with their veterinarians to make sure that their pets are.

DeKalb County Health Department offers COVID-19 vaccine clinics

DeKALB The DeKalb County Health Department is offering COVID-19 vaccine clinics beginning Monday.  Pfizer Bivalent booster vaccines will be available through appointment from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday and Friday mornings Those with appointments must be 12 years or older. Walk-in visits are accepted on Fridays.
