U.S. Sen. Raphael Warnock held his first in-person town hall on Friday, Feb. 4, at the DeKalb County Administration building in Decatur. During the event, he discussed his first year in office, his accomplishments and issues he is focusing on in his second year.
U.S. Sen. Raphael Warnock will hold a town hall event on Friday, Feb. 4, at 6 p.m. at the DeKalb County Administration building, 1300 Commerce Drive in Decatur. This will be the first in-person town hall he has hosted with local constituents.
Various events are happening this week in and around DeKalb County, including an in-person town hall event with Sen. Raphael Warnock, a celebration of the A Knight's Tale exhibit at Fernbank Museum, and a virtual speaker series hosted by the Decatur Parents Network. Several local government meetings are also scheduled for this week.
On Monday, there was a ransomware attack on DeKalb County. The servers were inaccessible, limiting the functionality of County operations, according to the DeKalb County Administration. It does not appear that any of the County files have been compromised. Significant progress has been made to restore the servers using back-up data by the County’s Information.
