Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has delivered the report on last Tuesday's explosion at Dejo Oyelese Close, Adeyi Avenue, Bodija, Ibadan to President Bola Tinubu. Makinde was at the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja over the weekend to give the report to the president. Tinubu had earlier ordered the arrest and prosecution of the ‘illegal miners’ who were reportedly responsible for the deadly explosion that occurred in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital on Tuesday night. The President issued the order last Wednesday while commiserating with the victims of the explosion.
