Foreign Ministry follows up on kidnapping of Jordanian woman in Libya By JT - Jun 10,2021 - Last updated at Jun 10,2021 AMMAN The Foreign Ministry on Wednesday stressed that it was following up on information it received two days earlier about a young Jordanian woman who was kidnapped and mistreated in Libya. Spokesperson Deifallah Fayez said that the ministry, through its operations centre, is in constant communication with Libyan authorities through the Libyan embassy in Amman, which, the latter, stressed that Libyan authorities took the necessary legal and security procedures and moved the woman to a safe place. Libyan authorities said that legal actions were being taken against the perpetrators, Fayez said in a ministry statement.
