Governor Ned Lamont today announced that his administration has received federal approval of an application that will provide heightened treatment of Connecticut residents struggling with substance use disorders, including first-time federal funding of residential care services and increased provider payment rates.

Governor Ned Lamont today announced that he has signed two executive orders (Executive Order No. 14B and Executive Order No. 14C) requiring employees of all long-term care facilities and state hospitals in Connecticut to receive COVID-19 booster shots by February 11, 2022.

Connecticut Gov Lamont would seek extension for nursing home protections if needed

On the day after his emergency powers expired, Gov. Lamont said he would go back to the legislature to seek a time extension for nursing home protections if the pandemic worsens.
