UPPER MERION â Upper Merion School District this week approved a $1.48 million purchase for Smart Displays for three of its elementary and middle schools.
The projectâs funding comes from ESSER grants, part of the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund under the CARES Act.
Susan Silver, assistant superintendent of curriculum and instruction, presented the item for board approval during this week s board s business meeting.

In 2006 and 2007, the legacy elementary school buildings â Bridgeport, Candlebrook, Roberts, and the middle school â installed the existing smart boards. Fifteen years later, they have reached the end of their lifespans and need replacing.
