Brook Lopez under 1.5 made threes
Lopez is pure fade material right now. The Bucks big man recently played the Thunder, Pelicans, Timberwolves, and Kings - all currently bottom six in the NBA in field goal percentage allowed to centers this year - and mustered just an average of 10 points across that stretch.
I m going under on his made threes. Lopez has knocked down multiple in only two of his last eight starts and faces a Nuggets unit surrendering just 0.76 triples per game to centers.
In Defense of Westbrook
With the Wizards currently at four straight wins and trying to make it five tonight against the reigning league champs, I’ve been spending some time thinking about the divisive Wizards PG Russell Westbrook and his effect on the team. Since the shocking trade between the Rockets and the Wizards, which saw Westbrook traded to DC for longtime local hoops icon John Wall, Westbrook has been treated critically by fans for his often sub-par performances. Much of these criticisms are, in all honesty, justified. Westbrook still pulls up for the kind of low-percentage jumpers he missed even during an MVP season that he is now years removed from, his Player Efficiency Rating ranks at 135th in the league (and is just at the 15.0 annual average for NBA players), and his Turnover Ratio is tied for the 23rd highest in the league, all according to ESPN’s Hollinger’s Player Stats.
