Replay Video UP NEXT U.S. Park Police did not clear Lafayette Park and the nearby area of protesters on June 1, 2020, so President Donald Trump could walk from the White House over to St. John’s Church, but learned of his interest in surveying the site hours after they already had begun planning to clear the area to put up new fencing, according to a new watchdog report. The Interior Department’s inspector general did not determine whether law enforcement acted inappropriately against demonstrators last year, but found that poor communication between agencies and ineffective dispersal warnings may have contributed to confusion during the operation and the use of tactics that appeared inconsistent with initial plans.

This deployment provides bilateral training for aircrew and maintenance personnel to enhance interoperability and cultivate regional partnerships.
“We welcome the RSAF deployment and the opportunity to further enhance cooperation and bolster our respective capabilities together,” said
Brig. Gen. Jeremy T. Sloane, 36th Wing commander. “The U.S.-Singapore bond is grounded in a history of common interests and shared perspectives.”
This deployment continues the long-running practice of training on Guam, having conducted bilateral exercises with the U.S. Marine Corps as early as the 1990s. Most recently in 2019, the RSAF deployed to Andersen AFB to conduct training.
