Not paying their rent. This deferral, by the way, did not require any auditable proof or documentation to verify the tenant actually had a need. The tenant was not required to claim their need under penalty of perjury. For these people, this is a freebie, a no brainer. Its an openended delay or forgiveness of rent. As long as im paying all the bills and personally putting in all the efforts to maintain and carry the building, i should have a say in whether i forgive or delay rent payments.
