Say to my good friend steve that i used to sit next on on the House Armed Services committee that i agree with you except im more concerned with todays war than i am with the war after next. Right now is when were having the problems that were having and we had a hearing last week. We had schlesinger, george schultz, madeline albright. And they reminisced over what our abilities were, capabilities at that time, what is expected and even read the charge that president reagan had made at one time in determining what a Defense Budget should be and the reason im saying this is i look and i agree with senator reid who talked about the inadequacy in meeting the threats. I agree that director clapper when he says looking back over my more than half century in intelligence, ive not experienced a time when we have been beset by more crises and threats around the globe than we are right now. That and in light of the fact that we a

When they added this last panel im thinking another facility, work behind us, my team is going to kill me what are we doing. Quite frankly this was brilliance at its best to be able to wrap it up put a bow on it as we go into deliberations, as we close this public part for the community, as far as the hearing listening session i think theres no better way to start the next chapter. I think that right now with the secretary of state in geneva that the white house will have to respond in some way that wouldnt have happened had the Prime Minister not made the speech. I want to add to that, if i could. I think the white house needs to keep its eye on the ball. The white house says is an uphill fight to get yes on iran. To let this be a distraction from what is already a tough mission would be unfortunate. I think they will move forward. This is a Prime Ministers who has never seen a war that he didnt want our country to fight. They need to finish a tough job. In may not lead to a deal, but if theres a possibility that it can, we need to stay focused and give it a shot. You mentioned earlier the Prime Minister mentioned the holocaust and genocide to congress. This a questio
