PNA file photo SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union - The Department of Health Center for Health Development Ilocos Region (DOH-CHD-1) is targeting to inoculate 91,711 residents in the region against coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) on the fourth National Vaccination Day from March 10 to 12. In a phone interview on Wednesday, (DOH-CHD-1) Covid-19 focal person Dr. Rheuel Bobis said the total number 12,598 was allotted for Ilocos Norte; 12,184 for Ilocos Sur; 14,036 for La Union; and 52,895 for Pangasinan. He said DOH-CHD-1 data shows that 25,471 are for second dose, 2,778 for A2 population or senior citizens, and 63,462 for booster shots. DOH-CHD-1 regional director Dr. Paula Paz Sydiongco earlier said a more contextualized and granular vaccination intervention to identified targets will be implemented, such as those who have missed or are due for the second dose, remaining unvaccinated senior citizens, children aged 12 to 17, booster doses of economic and health sectors, and indigenous peopl
