ER actor Dearon Deezer D Thompson passes away at 55 ANI | Updated: Jan 09, 2021 09:32 IST
Washington [US], January 9 (ANI): Dearon Deezer D Thompson, best known for his role on former medical drama ER, has died aged 55.
According to Fox News, Thompson s death was confirmed to TMZ by his brother, Marshawn, who relayed his family s belief that he died of a heart attack. An official cause of death has yet to be released.
The outlet reports that Thompson was found unresponsive at his home in Los Angeles on Thursday. It notes that he previously underwent surgery in 2009 on his heart to replace an aorta and fix a leaky heart valve.

The actor’s brother confirmed his passing on Instagram.
“My Big Brother! God is with you,”
Emmery Thompson wrote. “I will miss you.”
The
ER star’s cause of death has not been confirmed, but his family told TMZ he underwent major heart surgery in 2009, when he had an aorta replaced and a leaky heart valve repaired.

Actor Dearon Deezer D Thompson, who played nurse Malik McGrath in 190 episodes of US hospital drama ER, has died at the age of 55.
Thompson, who was in ER from 1994 to 2009, had major heart surgery in 2009.
He also appeared in 1997 film Romy and Michele s High School Reunion alongside Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino.
