Music streaming platform Deezer is now compatible with Apple smart speakers. HomePod and HomePod mini owners can set Deezer as their default audio service and ask Siri to play any of its 73 million tracks.
Paying subscribers with iOS 14.3 and above, combined with the most up-to-date HomePod software, can use their voice to issue a range of commands from specific tracks and artists to full albums or playlists. Try asking Siri to play my Flow for a mix of songs you love, as well as some fresh suggestions. And while you don t have to set Deezer as your default listening app, it could shave precious seconds off your commands. (Pocket-lint) - Deezer is now available as a native service through Apple s HomePod and HomePod mini speakers. That includes full Siri support for playback of music.
The streaming platform has become one of few third-party services available on the HomePod itself - most others need to be streamed from an iOS device via AirPlay.
It will work for all paying subscribers - those on Deezer Premium, HiFi, student or family plans. You just need to also have iOS 14.3 or above installed.

When a Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy S21, or Z Flip owner plugs these headphones into their handset, they’ll have the opportunity to install Deezer and get a ‘unique’ experience with it.
Deezer is a music streaming service not unlike Spotify and other arguably better-known alternatives. The platform boasts a number of offerings, not the least of which is its library of 3D audio content. You can, of course, head to the Google Play Store and directly download the app that way.
