MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - There are two chances of wintry weather in parts of the deep south, but will Central and South Alabama see snow?
Our coverage area will not see snow with the first system Thursday night or Friday.
As colder air filters into Tennessee and north Alabama Thursday night, the higher elevations will likely see a changeover to wet, heavy snow. A warm ground will limit accumulations, but a slushy inch or two is possible above 1500 feet elevation in Jackson, Marshall, DeKalb and Cherokee counties.
