As many as 20 persons from Ludhiana district lost their lives due to Covid today. This is the highest single-day death toll in Ludhiana since the first Covid death was reported from Ludhiana. On March 30, 2020, 42-year-old woman was the first casualty from Ludhiana. Today 792 people tested positive for Covid.
From the past few days, the number of people succumbing to the virus has increased considerably. Today 20 persons lost their life to the virus, yesterday the count was 18 and on Wednesday 15 persons had lost their lives.
