GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. â Whenever Trev Gibson talks about the dozens of men and women experiencing homelessness in Heartside Park, he calls them
friends.
âThey are my friends. I love everybody. Weâre just here to help,â Gibson said during an interview with Fox 17 on Monday. âOur friends have been doing this for a long time. And, for the city just to come and be like âyâall got to go somewhere,â I want to be able to help them.â
