The volunteers involved with Wicklow Meals on Wheels would like to offer sincere thanks to everyone who had made donations to the organisation as they continue their work despite the onset of the pandemic.
Wicklow Meals on Wheels has been serving the people of Wicklow since 1968 and their goal is to provide two hot nourishing meals per week to individuals in their homes.
They are currently providing meals for around 80 people twice a week, none of which would be possible without the generosity of the general public.
Recently, Wicklow Meals on Wheels Treasurer Maura Kavanagh was presented with a cheque for €350 from Jennifer Mates who organised a Zoom Quiz with her friends Dee Roche, Gráinne Reynolds, Kara Herlihy, Maria Kinsella and family, Monica Byrne, Paula Johnston, Sharon Casey and Tomás Kinsella.
