NORWOOD, Ohio (WKRC) – Election Day is just a week away and local officials are putting out the call for poll workers. Even though light turnout is expected next Tuesday, officials with the Hamilton County Board of Elections say they have about 1,800 people signed up to work the polls on Election Day, Nov. 2. That’s nearly 20% less than what they need. Elections Board Director Sherry Poland says any extra help is welcome, with the board wanting at least 2,200 workers next Tuesday.
