Marjorie Nicol (Of Counsel-Houston), along with Linda Dedman of Dedman Law, PLLC in Dallas, will present a CLE seminar titled “Anatomy of an Insurance Policy” on February 24, 2021, hosted by the Insurance Law Section of the State Bar of Texas.
A beginner’s guide on how to review an insurance policy for the purpose of determining whether coverage exists, The presentation will address the structure of a commercial general liability (CGL) policy in particular, with a suggested approach that also will apply to most other types of policies. The webinar will dissect the various parts of a policy and demonstrate what impact they have on coverage. Other considerations, such as regulatory notices, that may affect coverage will also be addressed. Overall, participants should gain a basic understanding of how an insurance policy works.
