A decomposed body was found in a car parked at Panikkampatti in Pollachi, Coimbatore. The deceased has been identified as P Mahalingam, a farm worker from Zamin Uthukuli. Preliminary inquiry suggests that the deceased was under the influence of alcohol and might have taken shelter inside the car to avoid cold weather.
