Mount Pleasant, IA- The Mount Pleasant Police Department has made multiple arrests in a shooting incident that took place near Iowa Wesleyan University. According to a news release, on Tuesday, April 12th, at about 8:33 PM, the Mount Pleasant Police Department was dispatched to the area of W Broad St. and N Jackson St for a report of a large fight. While on their way to the call, officers were notified of shots fired. As a result of the call, multiple people were arrested and charged. 19-year-old Decobi Davis, formerly from Baton Rouge, Louisiana was charged with Reckless Use of a Firearm resulting in serious injury, and Participating in a Riot. 19-year-old Joseph McNeese, formerly of Texas, and 21-year-old James Williams of Chicago were charged with Participating in a Riot. 19-year-old De'kunta Mason Jr, formerly of New Orleans, LA, 19-year-old J'cauri Morris, formerly of Houston, Texas, 18-year-old Vernell Trent of Mt Pleasant and four local juveniles were all charged with
