There were three reasons why architect Declan OâDonnell chose to build his family home where it is. The first two are prosaic. There was the size: a decent 205sqm. And location: a nifty 20-minute commute away from his practice in the centre of Dublin. The third was poetic. We re almost there folks; we re in the sugar-filled homestretch. All we ve got to do is wrap presents, make a few dozen cookies for three people to consume in two days, keep the Christmas spirit alive without losing our minds, and oh, survive a global pandemic.
