Olney, IL, USA / WVLN 740 AM/107.1 FM | CBS Sports Radio Apr 7, 2021 7:03 AM (OLNEY) The Farm Bureau office in Olney has released its first weekly rainfall report for 2021 from the nine townships within Richland County, with the recording period ending at 10:00 this past Monday morning. The highest amount of precipitation for the seven day period was four tenths of an inch (0.40) in Decker Township, followed by two tenths (0.20) in Preston, Madison, and one of the Bonpas Townships. There were six location that measures one tenth of an inch (0.10) including Denver, German, Noble, Olney, and Claremont Townships, plus the Farm Bureau Office in Olney. The remaining Bonpas Township site had five hundredths of an inch (0.05). Here at our WVLN-WSEI National Weather Service Weather Station, at the south edge of Olney, we measured twelve hundredths of an inch of rain (0.12) over the past week, that’s far short from the one inch and sixty-three hundredths (1.63) we had a year ago last week
