This is “heavy trash” week in Greensburg. Heavy trash items will be collected on any given resident’s normal trash day. Items should be set out no more than 24 to 48 hours in advance.
6:30 a.m. – Greensburg Optimist Club meeting in the Decatur County Emergency Management Building (old Washington School). Meeting will include presentation of the Law Officer of the Year Award.
2 to 7 p.m. – Everyone is welcome to attend a drive-thru Jobs Fair at OSL, off the bypass in Greensburg. Four local employers will be in attendance: KB Specialty Foods, One Solution Logistics (OSL), Advanced Bearing Materials (ABM), and NIPRO Pharma Packaging. Hotdogs, chips and drinks on site for those attending.
