your party. saying stop talking about obama care. where this president might behind a bit. but i didn t hear anything standing up. i never heard boehner say his speech two days ago was this is about obama care. he talked about it as the issue. he kept it right there. he didn t say let s talk about something else like you just said. there s no question. when there s no question, you guys could have changed the subject and you didn t. i ve been honest saying there s blame to go around all the way. i think the challenge for the republican party now is how do we unite? and i think we unite by coalescing around the ideals that we really believe in. that if we don t come up with a deficit and overall debt reduction program, then we are compromising the real future of this country where we can t just raise a debt ceiling. because we re no longer credit worthy. and what do we leave our children and grandchildren but a country that has defaulted because we couldn t pay our bills, not be
governor of the state that was 47th in the country? job growth. he promised that if elected, he would grow the economy and reduce the debt and when he left office the debt of the state was going up. and his plan, his plan, is to go back to the bush program. except on steroids. the romney republican plan is austerity and more unemployment now and blow the lid off later, just at the time when we were worried about high interest rates. what s the difference here? share prosperity, versus continued austerity and high unemployment. a politics of cooperation, versus constant conflict and divide and conquer. wow, he says it better. i ve been trying to say the same thing chris, which you need job production program and debt reduction program in the long run. he said romney is doing the opposite. no jobs in the short run so they can get elected and nothing done

people out there, this is a good time to do stuff. instead, he has this highway built up there on the hill and the so-called jobs bill that i don t even know what s in it. if they are going to say no to spam, say no to steak. have a big program. let congress say no to it. alongside a good debt reduction program down the road. he doesn t seem to have anything on the plate right now. and that s his problem as pitcher. you don t think of him out there pitching, and that s my main point. that s a great point, chris. i started saying last week one of the things that even though i disagree with the president s policies domestically, i were advising him, i would say, run straight into the fire and go everywhere you go, you say, you know what? things aren t great right now. but you know what? if washington if we didn t do what we did, your atm machines would have stopped working. if we didn t do what we did, detroit would have gone out of business. and with it, midwest jobs.
