we are anticipating more rain possible today as well as through the weekend. search crews are out and they say they are not going to give up until they find the rest of the missing eight people. they will search by foot boat and by air and they are not going to stop. in fact there are 40 to 50 crews out there with nine canine units. they are searching debris piles along the banks of the blanco river hoping for any sign of those missing eight people as their families wait to hear answers. the weather pattern is hitting oklahoma hard. look at the town of lawton. 4 inches of rain fell in places fast. you see the water reached the top of the car tires there. more severe weather in the forecast all the way through the weekend. several more inches of rainfall on already saturated ground. meteorologist derek van dam has more. new to cnn overnight
