The department of Homeland Security warning of lone wolf attacks in response to air strikes in syria. Now, this is as the pentagon says that the air strikes last night did not just target isis. They say they targeted perhaps an even more immediate threat. Last night we also took strikes to disrupt plotting against the United States and our allies by seasoned al qaeda operatives in syria who are known as the Khorason Group. The Khorason Group. The pentagon says that group is an Al Qaedalinked organization. They say it was ready to execute attacks on commercial flights. Good evening. Im erin burnett. Record snowfall is hitting the northeast. Minutes ago, Massachusetts Governor issuing a state of emergency for the state. Boston shutting down their subway system for the next 24 hours at least. Boston has now had 60 inches over 60 inches of snow in the past couple of weeks. Thats just since midjanuary. Thats the most snow ever in one month. Its set a record for the most snow in over a week. Over 40 inches. This is the third monday in a row that the region has been ground to a halt by snow. The biggest problem is what to do with all of it. And to give you an idea of how much snow theyve had to remove in the northeast of the United States Massachusetts Governor says in the past month, crews have removed enough snow to fill the 70,000 new England Patriots stadium. Thats filling it not one, not twice, but 90 times over. Across the region, the weight of all of that snow is causing roofs and buildings to collapse. Its not just boston. New york state is looking
