Pauline Frost is starting off on a new political career after being sworn in Wednesday as the new chief of the Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation in Yukon. CBC spoke with Frost about the swearing-in ceremony, and about her hopes as leader of the community.
The recount was completed Thursday afternoon after election results Monday night showed Frost just three votes in front of runner-up and former chief Bruce Charlie.
Pauline Frost, a former Liberal MLA and cabinet minister, has a three-vote margin over Bruce Charlie after Monday's vote for Vuntut Gwitchin chief. The results are pending an automatic recount on Thursday.
