A local woman allegedly stole a purse from a shopping cart at the Price Chopper in St. Johnsbury and then committed crimes, including felony identity theft.

ST. JOHNSBURY — Vermont State Police is asking for the public’s help in finding the people responsible for stealing a purse from a woman in Price Chopper on Wednesday afternoon.
