Over the next few days, CITC coaches will be delivering educational workshops and activities around the theme of ‘Together for a Better Internet’.
Participants from City Play, School Sports projects, Inspires, BTEC and One City Disability will benefit from activities and workshops, helping them with the understanding and awareness they need to stay safe online.
Coaches aim to give young people the skills to support one another, and the strategies to spot and speak out against harmful and misleading content online.
Today, the CITC team will also mark Safer Internet Day by delivering bespoke training sessions to Cityzens Giving Young Leaders in Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia, so they can continue to spread the message in their communities.
