Union Canal House in South Hanover Township has operated for about 50 years in a historic tavern dating to the 1700s. Owners Deborah and William Albright said they are selling the building.

A historic Hershey-area tavern dating to the 1700s is for sale.
Co-owner Deborah Albright said she put the Union Canal House at 107 S. Hanover St. in South Hanover Township on the market last fall. The restaurant closed for dine-in service in March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic and operated with takeout for several months.
