Suffolk GP Federation is working with practices to make sure that every cancelled appointment is being rebooked.
Spokesmen for both Suffolk GP Federation and EPUT confirmed that no doses had been wasted as the vaccination centres in the region have been issued with the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine which has a much longer lifespan than the Pfizer vaccine.

Snow has forced Suffolk s coronavirus testing centres to close this afternoon.
All testing sites in the county for those with Covid symptoms have been shut, but organisers say the situation will be reviewed daily.
Anyone who had appointments will be contacted by text message about re-booking. If you are experiencing symptoms, self-isolate and check the website for the earliest available slots.
The community testing centres - also known as rapid testing or lateral flow testing centres - at Bury St Edmunds, Lowestoft and the University of Suffolk in Ipswich for people not displaying symptoms have also been closed.

A number of Covid-19 vaccination centres in the east of England have closed because of heavy snow.
An amber warning is in place across much of the east and south-east of England, and eight centres were affected in Essex and Suffolk.
They included Clacton Hospital, where those with appointments at the centre on Sunday can rebook from Monday.
Two sites in Ipswich closed, and a number of testing centres in Suffolk also shut.
As well as their hospital site Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust also had earlier finishes at its sites at the Gainsborough Sports Centre in Ipswich and at Colchester s Jobserve Community Stadium.
