A man was shot and killed Saturday afternoon in Frayser, police said. It was the third shooting reported in the Memphis neighborhood on Saturday and the second one there that resulted in a death.
The temporary road closure next week will allow contractors to install water and sewer lines under the roadway. This is part of a new development near the road.
