Grieving relatives demand inquiry after loved ones have been wrongly certified as virus victims

Grieving families last night said deaths had been wrongly certified as Covid-19. Demanding an inquiry, top medical experts and MPs also insisted they were ‘certain’ that too many fatalities were being blamed on the virus. One funeral director said it was ‘a national scandal’. The claims are part of a Daily Mail investigation that raises serious questions over the spiralling death toll. More than 100 readers wrote heartbreaking letters following a moving article by Bel Mooney last Saturday. She revealed the death of her 99-year-old father, who suffered from dementia and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, was recorded as coronavirus. Layla Moran (pictured) , the Liberal Democrat MP who chairs the all-party parliamentary group on coronavirus, said: ‘The Government should call a public inquiry into the handling of the pandemic immediately with an interim investigation into all Covid deaths that should report as soon as possible’

Jeff Kubinec

It is with profound sadness the family announces the unexpected passing of Dr. Jeff Kubinec at the age of 63. Jeff was born in Fort William, Ontario on November 21, 1957. Growing up, he took part in many local sports including hockey, and baseball. He had the pleasure of coaching, as well as being a player. He also spent many hours refereeing hockey with his dad, John. Jeff attended local schools, graduating top of his class from Churchill Highschool. He then went on to attend the University of Guelph, graduating in 1983 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine. He returned to Thunder Bay and began practising at local veterinary hospitals. He later went on to establish his own practise, culminating in his life long dream of building his own facility, the Thunder Bay Veterinary Hospital. He was also supportive of many local pet charities, establishing Darcy’s Pet Charity Leash-a-thon which raised thousands of dollars.
