BAD AXE The Huron County Board of Commissioners so far has not acted on any of the requests by the We the County group, either due to their informal nature or because they felt they were unnecessary.
Debb Knarian, who has spoken on behalf of We the County at the last two commissioners meetings, again asked for answers this week to previous requests the group made, along with commending them for continuing to be a voice for the county’s concerns.

BAD AXE A member of the We the County group asked the Huron County Board of Commissioners some questions during this week’s meeting about what information relating to the coronavirus pandemic county officials can make available.
Some of the questions Debb Knarian asked revolved around the determinations for fines businesses receive for not following mandates, how COVID-19 cases are determined, who is doing the testing, what the criteria is for determining someone died of COVID-19, and if they looked into expanding the board of health.
