they have cameras with them and they re wearing gas masks. incredible sight. almost like the fourth of july. clearly not celebrating. moving on to this south africa s current president calls nelson mandela s condition very serious as he fights a lung infection. this is mandela s fifth day of intensive care treatment at a hospital in pretoria. his condition is described as stabilized. two of mandela s daughters visited him yesterday. mandela is 94 years old and he has been hospitalized four times since december. former soviet president, mikhail gorbachev is also in the hospital. he is now 82 years old. his spokesperson says he is in the hospital for routine tests. gorbachev publicly complained about health problems in march. he skipped some public events in april due to illness. debate set to begin in the senate on the landmark immigration reform bill. president obama is urging lawmakers to support the legislation.
